Cajuns Complete Sweep Of ULM
Louisian's Ragin' Cajun softball team ended their regular season today with a 5-0 win over the ULM Warhawks. The Cajuns finish the season with a 45-9 record, and end the season on a 7 game winning streak. Here is more from the Ragin' Cajun athletic department and ragincajuns.com.
The Cajuns used their speed on Sunday to finish off the Warhawks as seven of their 11 hits came from slappers and the Cajuns stole three bases. Natalie Fernandez and Katie Smith led those slappers with three hits each and a combined three RBI.Ashley Brignac (27-5) went the distance for the Cajuns, giving up just two hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.
Now the Cajuns will prepare to host the Sun Belt Conference tournament beginning on Wednesday. Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will be attempting to win their 11th SBC tournament championship. Information about the tournament, including ticket information can be found here.
