Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team closes out their 2012 regular season schedule on Saturday afternoon, when coach Mark Hudspeth's squad travel to Boca Raton, Florida, to take on the FAU Owls, in Sun Belt Conference action.

Louisiana defeated South Alabama, 52-30, last Saturday, to improve to 7-4 overall, and 5-2 in Sun Belt Conference play.

After the win, the Cajuns received an invitation to play in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, set for Saturday, December 22 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

FAU was last in action on Friday, November 16, when they fell to the FIU Panthers, 34-24, to drop to 3-8 overall, and 2-5 in league play.

The Cajuns are led by sophomore quarterback Terrance Broadway, who has thrown for 2,358 yards and 15 touchdowns this year, while the Owls are paced by senior quarterback Graham Wilbert, who has passed for 2,435 yards, along with 16 touchdowns.

Louisiana ranks third in the conference in total offense, averaging 442.8 yards-per-game, while FAU ranks last, averaging 334.5 yards a contest.

Defensively, the Cajuns rank eighth, giving up 418.7 yards-per-game, while the Owls rank third, allowing 402.4 yards per match-up.

Kick-off time is set for 2 o'clock.
