Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team picked up their fourth-consecutive win on Saturday, defeating the Troy Trojans, 83-78, in Sun Belt Conference play in Troy, Alabama.

Louisiana led it at the half, 31-29, and went on to capture the five-point win.

UL was able to out-shoot the Trojans from the field, 48%-41%, and were also able to win the battle on the boards, with a 44-31 rebound advantage.

Leading the way for the Cajuns was Bryant Mbamalu, who poured in a career0high 27 points, while Will Weathers paced the Trojans in a losing cause, with 22.

With the victory, UL improved to 14-11 overall, and 8-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, while Troy fell to 7-15 overall, and 2-9 in league play.
