Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team will begin their 2015 regular season schedule on Friday night, when coach Tony Robichaux's squad travels to San Antonio, Texas to take on the UTSA Roadrunners in the opening game of a three-game, weekend, non-conference series.

Game times are 6 o'clock on Friday night, 2 pm on Saturday afternoon, and 1 o'clock for the series finale on Sunday afternoon.

Louisiana went 58-10 in 2014, advancing to an NCAA Super Regional, while UTSA, members of Conference USA, finished at 35-26 a season ago.

Sophomore right-hander Chris Charpentier (1-0, 4.67 ERA. in 2014) gets the opening night start for the Cajuns, with freshman right-hander Evan Guillory starting on Saturday, and senior left-hander Greg Milhorn scheduled to get the ball on Sunday.

The Roadrunners will counter with junior right-hander Brock Hartson (7-3, 2.24 ERA. in 2014) on Friday, junior left-hander Nolan Trabanino on Saturday and senior left-hander Cody Brannon on Sunday.

Louisiana remains on the road next Wednesday, when they travel to Natchitoches, La. to take on Northwestern St., before their home opener, Friday, February 20, against Stony Brook.
