Cajuns Battle Blue Raiders On Saturday-Game Preview
Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Saturday, as coach Bob Marlin's squad travels to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to take on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, in Sun Belt Conference action.
UL captured their third-consecutive victory on Thursday night, defeating the WKU Hilltoppers, 72-70, in overtime.
The win moved the Cajuns to 8-8 overall, and kept them undefeated in Sun Belt Conference play, at 2-0.
The Blue Raiders are on a roll of their own, winning five-straight, and nine of their last ten.
Middle Tennessee is 14-2 on the season, and 3-0 in league play.
LaRon Dendy leads the Blue Raiders in scoring, averaging 14.7 points, and 6.9 rebounds per game, while J.J. Thomas paces the Cajuns, at 11.4 points, and 5.7 rebounds per outing.
Tip-off time is set for 5:30 pm.
