After two consecutive super regional appearances, this may not come as a surprise.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team has set another new record for season ticket sales.

The 2,763 season tickets mark the second straight year Tony Robichaux's Cajuns have set a new high in season ticket sales.  Prior to last year (2,758), the previous high for season ticket sales was in 2011, the year after the Cajuns appeared in the College World Series.

The Cajuns were ranked 11th in the nation in attendance a year ago with an average of 3,908.

Season tickets remain on sale in the first and third base bleachers at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field.  Fans can get them by going to ragincajuns.com or stopping by the Cajundome ticket office or by calling 337-265-2100.

The Cajuns open their season Friday, February 19th against Sam Houston State at "The Tigue."
