The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will try to make up some ground in the Sun Belt standings, opening up a two game home stand tonight against defending champion Little Rock.

The Cajuns (13-7, 3-4 Sun Belt) will also host Arkansas State during the home stand.  That game will be Monday night at the Cajundome.

This will be the second meeting between the schools this year.  Louisiana took a resounding 69-52 win over the Trojans (12-8, 3-4) back on January 2nd.

Little Rock is led by pre season all-Sun Belt guard Marcus Johnson, Jr., who is averaging over 14 points per game.  Two other players, forward Jalen Jackson and center Lis Shoshi both average in double figures as well.

THE LAST MEETING--It was all about the Cajuns' defense as Louisiana allowed just 32 percent shooting in each half en route to the dominating win.  The Cajuns opened up a double digit lead midway through the first half, and led by a 44-22 count at halftime. The Trojans never got within fifteen points the rest of the way.

Meanwhile, the Cajuns shot 56.6% for the game.  Justin Miller led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points, while Frank Bartley had 14 on 6-8 shooting.  Bryce Washington had a double double with 13 points and eleven rebounds and point guard Jay Wright chipped in ten.points and six assists in a complete 40 minute performance.  Wright did not commit a turnover in the contest.

The senior guard also was brilliant on the defensive end, holding Johnson to just nine points on 3-15 shooting from the field.  Kemy Osse was the only scorer in double figrues for the Trojans with 15 points.
