Cajuns Announce Home Men’s Basketball Schedule

There are still a few things to be worked out with the road schedule, but the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have released their home basketball schedule for 2018-19.

The Cajuns will play host to a pair of Division I state schools, hosting Southern University on Saturday, December 1 and Louisiana Tech on Saturday, December 15th.  The meeting with Southern will be the first with the Jaguars since 1996.  The Cajuns will be playing Louisiana Tech for the sixth consecutive season and have won four of the last five meetings.

In addition, the Cajuns will open the season against NAIA member University of the Virgin Islands on November 6th.  It will be the only home appearance for the Cajuns during the month of October.

Other non conference home games include a meeting with Loyola (NO) during finals week on December 5th and a meeting with Prairie View A&M on Tuesday, December 11th.

The Cajuns will also play nine home games during the Sun Belt schedule, beginning with games on January 3 and 5 against Arkansas State and Little Rock.  South Alabama and Troy visit the 'Dome January 24 and 26, while Georgia Southern and Georgia State will be in town February 7 and 9.  ULM is in for a February 16th game and the Cajuns will wrap up their home slate with games against Coastal Carolina on Thursday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, March 3.

All home games will start at 7:00 pm except for the opener against UVI, slated for 7:15.  The game against Appalachian State will be at a time to be announced.
