Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns got a good win over a good Houston club last night at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Now they have to see if they can win one on the road.

Louisiana (7-5) travels down I-10 Wednesday evening to tangle with long time rivals, the McNeese State Cowboys at the Cowboy Diamond.  Gametime is 6:30 and will be heard beginning at 6pm on ESPN1420 and 1240 KANE.

Derek Howell (0-0, 3.48 ERA) will get his first start of the year for the Cajuns.  Howell has allowed just six hits in 10.1 innings of work this season.  Howell is a junior college transfer from Krum, Texas.

Right-hander Ross Rowland, who has pitched just one inning for the Cowboys this season, will get the start for McNeese (3-8), who opens Southland Conference play this weekend against Northwestern State.
