Cajun Softballers #6 In Both Polls

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team find themselves in the No. 6 position in both the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 and the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Polls. It is the final polls of the regular season.

The 46-3 Cajuns are coming off a 2-1 weekend against ULM, and will be the No. 1 overall seed in this week’s SBC Tournament. UL battles FAU tomorrow at 5:30 in the first round of the tourney down in Boca Raton, Florida. You can listen live to all the action right here on espn1420.com.

More important than the human polls is the RPI rankings. Louisiana learned yesterday they rank in at #13 in the latest RPI. The formula is a big part of what determines which schools will host NCAA regionals in postseason play.
