In the first of many one-on-one Cajun football video interviews, Sun Belt Conference freshmen of the year Elijah McGuire gets ready for his sophomore season.

As a freshmen last year, McGuire could not talk to the media, per team policy. With one year under his belt, McGuire will be getting plenty of media requests. We got to be the first to talk to the preseason All-Conference back, covering a range of topics.

The playmaker talks about the Cajun backfield, his personal goals, working with Alonzo Harris, what makes him nervous and much more. He ends the interview with a good round of word association.
