Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun punter Daniel Cadona is in the midst of a standout senior season, and as a result, has been named a finalist for the 2014 Ray Guy Award.

Cadona is one of 80 finalist for the award, which is presented to the nation's best collegiate punter.

Cadona, a senior from Darwin, Austrailia, boomed a 77 yard punt in week 1 of the season. It currently stands as the longest punt in the FBS this year.

In addition to the Ray Guy finalist recognition, Cadona has earned Sun Belt Conference special teams player of the week honors twice this season, in addition to the LSWA special teams player of the week honor.

Cadona has punted 18 balls inside an opponents 20 yard line, and has registered 14 punts of 50+ yards.
