Louisiana Ragin' Cajun senior punter Daniel Cadona has been named the LSWA special teams player of the week.

Cadona currently leads the nation in average yards per punt (54.8). In Saturday's 45-6 win over Southern, Cadona booted 4 punts, including a whopping 77 yarder in the second quarter (longest in Cajun Field history, 4th longest in school history).

LSU Tiger senior running back Kenny Hilliard earned LSWA offensive player of the week honors.

Hilliard racked up 110 rushing yards, with 93 of those yards coming in the 4th quarter when LSU finished wiping away a 17 point second half deficit to defeat Wisconsin 28-24.

ULM Warhawk junior safety Mitch Lane was named the LSWA defensive player of the week for his effort in the Warhawks 17-10 victory over Wake Forest. Lane finished the game with 6 tackles and an interception.
