Louisiana Ragin' Cajun freshmen pitcher Dylan Moore has been named a first-team All-American by the NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association).

Moore, a reliever from Hughes Springs, Texas, was a big part of the Cajuns staff from the beginning of the season to the end, tossing 50.2 innings of relief in 32 game appearances.

His 13 saves led the team, as did his 1.60 ERA (for any pitcher with more than 3 innings pitched).

At 6'4, 220 pounds, Moore is part of an impressive stable of young Louisiana pitchers who will make up an exciting staff in 2016.

Sixteen players are represented on the NCBWA All-American First-Team, with Moore being the only player from the Sun Belt.
