Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun junior relief pitcher Dylan Moore made headlines today after being named a Perfect Game/Rawlings Preseason All-America First Team member.

Accolades and honors are nothing new for Moore. The 6’4 right hander from Hughes Springs, Texas was 1st freshmen All-American in 2015, a 2016 All American, an Academic All-American and the UL male Student Athletic of the year last May, just to name a few.

Last month, he earned a spot on the Collegiate Baseball 2017 preseason All-American team as a 2nd team selection.

He sports a 4.0 GPA and a tenacity on the mound that’s hard to explain.

“Every pitch he throws, he throws it with every fiber in his body that he thinks you’re out,” head coach Tony Robichaux tried to explain last season. “From feet to fingertips, he believes you’re out on this pitch, and he does it again on the next pitch.”
