Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball outfielder Dylan Butler and softball shortstop Nerissa Myers have been named Players of the Week by the Sun Belt Conference.

Butler, a sophomore from Belle Chasse, had twelve hits during the

Cajuns' five games and had a slugging percentage for the week of 1.182.  He had three home runs, two triples and a double among his dozen hits.

Butler has raised his batting average more than 100 points in the month of April.

Myers, a senior from Petal, MS, ended her home career in style over the weekend, batting .667 and driving in five runs.  All of her RBI came in Sunday's finale against Troy.  She went 3-4 in that game with a home run and a double.

It is the second time this season Myers has been honored by the Sun Belt.  It is the fourth such honor in Myers' career.
