Brignac, Orgeron Receive National Team Invites

Pitcher Ashley Brignac, and outfielder Christi Orgeron, of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team, have received invitations to the 2011 USA Softball Women's National Team Selection Camp, set for June 12-17, in Chula Vista, Ca. Raigncajuns.com has the story, below.

The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America announced today the final invitees to the 2011 USA Softball Women's National Team Selection Camp, which includes Ragin' Cajuns Ashley Brignac and Christi Orgeron.

 

Brignac and Orgeron will travel to the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., June 12-17. There will be 37 collegiate players in attendance at the camp, vying for 17 spots on the 2011 USA Softball Women's National Team.  The final team will be announced on Friday, June 17.
