Brees Confident Deal Will Get Done

If Drew Brees is worried about getting his new contract before training camp opens, he sure isn't letting anyone know publicly.

Brees appeared on "Mike and Mike in the Morning" on ESPN Radio today and said he's confident he'll come to terms on a new contract before July 16th.

The Saints have placed the franchise tag on Brees, which would be worth 16.3 million dollars.

Sources say the two sides have been about two million dollars apart in salary.
