The heat of a pepper is measured in Scoville units. Your typical habanero, one of the hotter peppers currently widely available, runs 100,000 Scoville units. Also 100,000 Scoville units? Naga Chili Vodka. And these total suckers brave souls actually tried it.

We’re not sure even trained idiots could really handle what they were being served, here. You’ll notice that the burn starts slowly but rapidly gets worse, spreading through the drinker’s entire system. It is, in fact, so hot that it’s not recommended to be consumed straight, like these folks did. Instead you’re supposed to use it as a mixer or a touch for some flavor.

But really, doing the responsible thing just isn’t nearly as funny.
