Former New Orleans Saints cornerback Brandon Browner revealed on his Instagram account on Wednesday that he played the entire 2015 regular season with a torn MCL.

Browner, who signed with the Saints as a free agent prior to the 2015 season, said he suffered the MCL tear in the team's first preseason game against the Ravens, before missing the final three preseason games.

The 31-year-old Browner, who the Saints released on March 10, started all 16 games in the regular season, compiling 63 tackles and one interception.

A native of Los Angles, California, Browner has accumulated 187 tackles and 12 interceptions in his 5-year NFL career.
