The Ragin' Cajuns' road through the Sun Belt schedule has been up and down, and Head Coach Bob Marlin met with media to discuss the latest road trip and the upcoming game against App State.

Marlin's crew picked up a tough loss to South Alabama for the second time this year, but bounced back for a crucial win in San Marcos against a coach he knows all too well, Danny Kaspar. With the Cajuns at 6-5 in Sun Belt play, the upcoming home game against a streaking Appalachian State team carries a significant impact for the conference standings.

Among many topics of discussion, Marlin speaks on the defensive struggles against South Alabama, the emergence of Johnathan Stove into the starting lineup, the importance of Jay Wright at the guard position and a couple keys to playing the Mountaineers.

After facing Appalachian State on Thursday, the Cajuns will look forward to a nationally televised game against UT-Arlington on ESPN2 at home in the Cajundome on Saturday. Make sure to look for the ESPN 1420 crew, who will be out passing out temporary tattoo's just like Bob Marlin's for those in attendance.
