Bob Marlin and Frank Bartley Receive more Post-Season Awards

More congratulations are in order for a couple of Cajuns today as Head Coach, Bob Marlin and senior guard, Frank Bartley received recognition from the LABC (Louisiana Association of Basketball Coaches).

Bob Marlin was named the Louisiana Major College Coach of the Year.

Coach Marlin lead the Cajuns to their first regular season Sun Belt Title since the team won the Western Division and had the best overall conference record in 2003-2004. He also lead the team to a school best, 27-6 overall record, and 16-2 in the Sun Belt.

In addition, senior guard, Frank Bartley was named the Major College Player of the Year.

Bartley had himself a sensational senior year for the Cajuns in 2017-2018 as he lead the team in scoring with 17.8 points per game and free throw percentage (86%). He was a dynamic leader on the court and a guy who could shoot, create his own shot, and get to the free throw line.

Congratulations to both Coach Bob Marlin and Frank Bartley on these awards.
