Blaine Gautier Named To Manning Watch List

Louisiana Ragin' Cajun quarterback Blaine Gautier has been named to the watch list for the 10th annual Manning award.
Gauthier is one of 25 quarterbacks named to the watch list for the award, which is presented annuually by the Allstate Sugar Bowl to the top player at the position.
The senior set a school record in 2011, throwing for 2,958 yards. He was honored as the Louisiana Sports Writer’s Association Louisiana Offensive Player of the Year, as well as being named and a second team All-Sun Belt choice in 2011.
Besides passing yards, Gauthier also set new school records for passing touchdowns (23), completion percentage (.628), passing efficiency (153.6), total offense (3,444) and touchdowns responsible for (26).
Gautier led the Sun Belt and ranked 14th nationally in passing efficiency (153.6).
