Big Dave Day Has Arrived

A little over two years ago, a great man passed away. "Big" Dave Thibodeaux was the most colorful sports personality to ever broadcast on ESPN1420.

Radio was a small part of what Dave did. A stalwart in the local community, he worked with young athletes, helping them reach their full potential in sports, and more importantly, in life.

He left behind a legacy that continues to run strong.

Today is Big Dave Day!

Beginning at 5pm tonight, Cecile Rousseau Poche Memorial Park will hold the second annual Big Dave Day.

A fantastic lineup of bands will be on hand, while food and drink will be served (no outside ice chests allowed in the park). Admission is free.

Big Moe, Dr. Boogie, Lil J, Mr. Boo, Master G, as well as Corey Ledet and his Zydeco Band will all perform. A $1 split the pot raffle will take place too.

All proceeds raised tonight will be contributed to Big Dave’s Fulfull Your Dreams’ non-profit organization.
