Tensions were high, with the benches clearing three times, during a match-up between the New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers.

A lot of times, benches clear, not a whole lot transpires, and that's the end of it.

That was not the case with these guys.

Even after Austin Romine and Miguel Cabrera get into a benches-clearing physical altercation, in which punches were thrown, the situation didn't improve.

Eight players were ejected, and both managers were thrown out.

It almost looked like the undercard for the big Conor McGregor/Floyd Mayweather bout:
