Ben West Visits UL Football
A Louisiana prep football standout, who is being recruited by the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, apparently had a good visit to Lafayette over the weekend.
Tim Buckley, of The Advertiser, alerted UL fans to the commitment.
The 5-foot-11, 190 pound West, who sports a 3.9 GPA, and will graduate high school in 2019, plays quarterback for Pineville, but is being recruited as an athlete, as he also projects as a receiver and/or defensive player.
This season for Pineville, West compiled 2,352 totals yards during the regular season, including 1,539 passing yards and 14 touchdowns, as well as 813 rushing yards and 13 scores.
