Ben Simmons Ranks #5 In Player Of The Year Power Ratings

LSU freshman forward Ben Simmons ranks number five in this week's Player of the Year Power Ratings, as done by collegebasketballtalk.com.

A 6-foot-10, 240-pound freshman, Simmons has made an immediate impact in his first eight games with LSU, averaging 19.0 points, 14.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1.6 blocks-per-game.

The website lists Michigan St. guard Denzel Valentine as the top player this week, followed by Providence guard Kris Dunn, Duke guard Grayson Allen, Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield, and Simmons to round out the top five.
