The potential threat of legal action is standing in the way of Texas A&M's move to the SEC.

The presidents of the SEC want assurance that no Big XII will sue for contractual interference before formally accepting the Aggies into the league.  Baylor has refused to sign that waiver thus far.

The SEC got written notice from the Big XII back on September 2 that they were free to accept Texas A&M.

A planned celebration and press conference in College Station is now on hold.
