Baseball America: LSU Hosting, Four State Teams In
Baseball America released its projected field for the NCAA Tournament, and they have LSU as a regional host.
According to the projection, LSU would welcome Nebraska, Southeastern Louisiana and Yale to Alex Box Stadium. The projection has Baton Rouge paired with #8 national seed Stanford.
Baseball America also says the Sun Belt is projected to get just one bid as of now. South Alabama is the #3 seed in the North Carolina Regional. The Tar Heels are a projected #3 seed. Baseball America has the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and Coastal Carolina as two of the first four teams out of the field.
McNeese is projected to go to Hattiesburg as a #3 seed, where Southern Miss, Arkansas and Tennessee Tech would await. Hattiesburg is paired with Louisville, the #2 national seed.
And Louisiana Tech is in the field as well. The Bulldogs would be shipped to Gainesville as the #3 seed, with Florida, UCF and Bethune-Cookman.
College Baseball's final regular season weekend happens this weekend. Conference tournaments will be held next week.
