Watch this video of a female BASE Jumper smashing into the side of a high rise hotel at about 60 mph, while participating in the annual BASE jump Extreme World Championships in Spain.

22-year old Maria Steinmayr, of Austria, jumped from the 525-foot-high roof of Benidorm’s Gran Hotel Bali, when her parachute opened the wrong way.

With her equipment malfunctioning, Steinmayr plunged to the ground at 62 mph, smashing into the building several times, before crash-landing onto a 10th floor balcony of a room whose guests had fortunately left the glass door open.

Miraculously, Steinmayr suffered only a broken nose, along with a few bruises, in the mishap.
