Bahamas Bowl Has Popeyes As Title Sponsor

There will be a little Louisiana flavor in the brand new college football bowl game this season, as Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has been named the brand new title sponsor for the Bahamas Bowl.

The Popeyes Bahamas Bowl, which is scheduled for December 24 in Nassau, Bahamas, will be the first postseason bowl game played between two U.S. teams outside of North America since 1937.

The bowl currently has conference tie-ins with Conference USA and the MAC.

This is the first time that Popeyes, which was founded it 1972, has been a corporate title sponsor for a bowl game.
