Steve Peloquin

I am a lifelong resident of the Acadiana area, attending Northside High School and the University of Louisiana (formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana.), before beginning my career in the radio industry back in 1990. I've hosted the popular morning show, "Thinking Out Loud", for eleven years. As part of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Radio Network, I do sideline coverage duties for UL football, along with part-time play-by-play duties for UL men's basketball and baseball. I am also the main play-by-play voice of UL women's basketball and softball. In 2013, I was honored, by being voted the Sunbelt Conference Broadcaster of the Year. In 2009, I was part of the ESPN 1420 radio family that was nominated for the prestigious Marconi Award for Sports Station of the Year. An avid runner, I have completed two full marathons. I enjoy vacationing in Las Vegas, and of course, dining at every Dairy Queen and Denny's restaurant possible.
