The Houston Astros are set to take on the Kansas City Royals in the American League Division Series.

The first game of the best-of-five game series will be Thursday night in Kansas City, with game two on Friday afternoon, also in Kansas City, before the series shifts to Houston for game three on Sunday afternoon, and, if necessary, game four on Monday.

Game five, if necessary, would be held in Kansas City on Wednesday.

The Astros, who are in the postseason for the first time in ten years, defeated the New York Yankees, 3-0, in the American League wild-card game on Tuesday evening, after going 86-76 during the regular season.

The Royals, who made to the World Series a year ago, won the AL Central this season, finishing 95-67, the best record in the league.

Two right-handers will oppose each other in game one, with Colin McHugh (19-7, 3.89 ERA.) getting the start for the Astros, while Yordano Ventura (13-8, 4.08 ERA.) gets the call for the Royals.
