Evidently, the news about former Baylor coach Art Briles being fired because he condoned rape by his football players hasn't reached Canada.

Or, maybe it doesn't matter to them.

But, either way, Briles has a job back in football.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League announced today they've hired Briles as their assistant head coach in charge of the offense (or as they say north of the border, offence.)

The news release goes on to highlight Briles' accomplishments in his coaching career, but, of course, makes no mention of the scandal at Baylor.

The Tiger-Cats are coached by former SMU and Hawai'i head coach June Jones.
