Arkansas scored eight runs in the sixth inning and ran away from Texas 11-5 Sunday afternoon at the College World Series.

The eight run inning actually took over 3 1/2 hours because of a weather delay of 2:47.  The Hogs had scored three runs to take a 5-1 lead before the weather delay and added another five runs after play resumed.  The first ten batters from Arkansas reached base in the inning.  Texas used six pitchers to get out of the inning.

Texas led 2-1 in the fifth inning, but Arkansas got a two run homer in the bottom of the fifth to get the lead for good.

Arkansas had six hits, drew four walks and had a hit batsman in the eight run inning.

Arkansas will meet the Florida-Texas Tech winner Tuesday night.  Texas will face elimination against the lower of that game Tuesday afternoon.
