Are Your iPhone Accessories About to be Obsolete?

Although Apple has made no announcement, it appears the new iPhone 5 will use totally new accessories than the previous iPhone or iPad.

That's because the plug-in charger at the bottom is going to be smaller, according to all reports.

If all this turns out to be true, your phone chargers, docks, speakers and the like won't be compatible with the new iPhone.

The old, 30-pin connector is, according to the blog TechCrunch, going to be replaced with a 19-pin connector, which will be considerably smaller.

The change would probably give Apple a tighter reign on the sale of accessories.
