April Fools On A.J. Burnett With Exploding Rosin Bag – VIDEO

Monday was opening day for a number of Major League Baseball teams, including the Pittsburgh Pirates, who has the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Of course, yesterday was also April 1, April Fool's Day, and Pirates' opener day starting pitcher was reminder of that fact, even before the gsme started.

Burnett, as you can see, fell victim to the old exploding rosin bag trick.

Credit to Burnett, as he was in a zone, and didn't seem phased by it, at all.

Burnett went on to allow three runs, in 5.2 innings of work, in a 3-1 loss to the Cubs.
