New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis has been tremendous this season.

Last week, he led his squad to a 3-1 record, putting up an average stat line of 29.5 points on .586 shooting from the floor, 12.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 blocks in 4 games.

For his efforts, he was named the Western Conference Player of the Week today.

His 118 points and 41 field goals made was most among all WC players.

Davis is the second member of the Pelicans to receive WC POW honors this season, as DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins took home the award several weeks ago.

On the season, Davis is fifth best in the NBA in scoring at 26.0 points a game, 10th best in the NBA in field goal percentage (.571), 8th in the league in rebouding at 11.3 a game, third in the NBA in blocks at 1.8 a game.

It's the third Western Conference Player of the Week award of his career.
