Anna Benson Arrested For Felony Assault On Kris Benson

Anna Benson,  the estranged wife of former Major League Baseball pitcher Kris Benson, was arrested on Monday in Georgia, and charged with four counts, after allegedly assaulting him.

The 37-year old Anna Benson was charged with four counts, including  two felony counts of aggravated assault with a weapon, one count of criminal trespass, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

According to reports, Kris Benson reported that Anna showed up at his home and threatened him with a metal baton, before pulling out a handgun and demanding money, all while wearing a bulletproof vest.

Anna Benson was reportedly upset about the fact that the court was forcing her to vacate the home that they shared as a married couple, after Kris Benson filed for divorce last year.

A former FHM model, Anna Benson is the former star of the reality show "Baseball Wives".

Kris Benson was the top pick in the 1996 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft, by the Pittsburgh Pirates, out of Clemson.

The 38-year old Benson pitched for nine years in the Major Leagues, with the Pirates, New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles,Texas Rangers, and the Arizona Diamondbacks, with whom he last pitched for, in 2010. He accumulated a 70-75 overall record, with a 4.42 career ERA.
