Where were you when the Cajuns beat the Aggies? Back in 1996, Coach Nelson Stokley had high hopes for his team which included his son, a future NFL player and part of two Superbowl champion teams, Brandon Stokley, as well as a future NFL quarterback and man who helped lead the Carolina Panthers to their first-ever Superbowl appearance, Jake Delhomme.

From all the big hits, the scores to the coach describing his plan for the year, it was truly an amazing season which will forever be emblazoned in the memory of those who attended the game against Texas A&M. With the victory, the fans celebrated by taking down the goal post and marching it down Johnston Street to the McKinley Street Strip to continue the celebration.
