Two members of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns were named Sun Belt Conference Players of the Week, for their perfrmances in UL's 45-20 win over the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, last Saturday.

Freshman running back Alonzo Harris was tabbed the league's offesnive player of the week, after rushing for a career-high 189 yards, along with two touchdowns against the Blue Raiders.

Harris', who became the first UL running back to eclipse 100 yards since 2009, also accumulated the third-most rushing yards by a freshman in school history.

Senior cornerback Melvin White wins the defensive honor, after intercepting a pass, and recovering a fumble.

White was a big part of a defense that forced three Middle Tennessee turnovers, including a touchdown, as Devon Lewis-Buchanan returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown, the sixth pick-six by the UL defense this year.
