For the second-consecutive week, the Alabama Crimson Tide are the unanimous top selection in the Associated Press Top 25 college football poll, which was released on Sunday.

Alabama (5-0) who received all 60 first-place votes, was idle last week and will travel to take on  Missouri this week.

The Oregon Ducks remain in the two-hole for the third-consecutive week after improving to 6-0 with a 52-21 win over Washington on Saturday.

South Carolina moves up to the third spot this week, after a convincing 35-7 win over Georgia last Saturday. The Gamecocks, who are now 6-0, will travel to take on LSU this Saturday.

The Florida Gators, who stayed unbeaten (5-0) with a 14-6 win over LSU last Saturday, move up to number four, while the West Virginia Montaineers, who outscored Texas, 48-45, to remain undefeated (5-0) round out the top five.

Following their loss to Florida, LSU slipped to number nine this week. The Tigers, along with Florida St. and Georgia, were teams ranked in the top five last week that all suffered defeats last Saturday.

Cincinnati, Texas A&M, Louisiana Tech, Boise St., and Michigan are the newcomers to this week’s poll, while TCU, Nebraska, Washington, Northwestern, and UCLA all dropped out.
