Alabama Fan Arrested For Sexually Assaulting LSU Fan

The Alabama fan believed to have committed sexual battery on a LSU fan in a French Quarter restaurant after the BCS Championship game has been arrested by New Orleans Police.

32-year-old Brian Downing has been charged with one count of Sexual Battery (a felony) and one count of Obscenity.

Video showed Alabama fans putting food containers on the LSU fan, as well as pouring water on his back.

The video then apparently shows Downing removing his own genitals from his shorts, before climbing on the counter and committing the sexual battery.

Police said LSU and Alabama University campus police helped them collect information and evidence needed to get a warrant for Downing's arrest.
