Aggies Beat LSU Again, 68-62
LSU's position on the NCAA bubble just got a little more tenuous.
Texas A&M went on a 12-0 run midway through the second half and made enough plays down the stretch to defeat the Tigers, 68-62 at the Reed Coliseum.
With the win, Texas A&M is now 18-8, 9-4 in the Southeastern Conference. LSU drops to 7-6 in the league and 18-8 overall.
LSU held a 50-42 lead with 12:04 remaining, but Danuel House scored eight points during the 12-0 run and assisted on an Alex Caruso basket as A&M took a 54-50 lead with 9:12 left.
The teams went back and forth down the stretch until Kourney Roberson converted on a three point play to give the Aggies the lead for good, 64-61 with less than two minutes to play and A&M never lost the lead again.
House scored twenty points to lead Texas A&M, while Roberson had a double double with 16 points and eleven rebounds.
LSU had three in double figures, led by Jarrel Martin with 13 points. The Tigers entertain Florida on Saturday.
