Advocate: LSU Has Backup Plan if Kiffin Says No to Tigers
It's no secret Lane Kiffin is LSU coach Ed Orgeron's choice to be the Tigers' new offensive coordinator.
But what if he says no?
A story by the Morning Advocate on its website says the Tigers have a backup plan. Three of them in fact.
Pitt offensive coordinator Larry Canada, former USC head coach Steve Sarkasian and former Oregon coach Mark Helfrich appear to be the top candidates, according to Advocate sources.
Kiffin would like a head coaching job, but the pickings are getting slim.
