Okay Acadiana, you’ve been been patient long enough. It’s all about to get started. Just a few more hours left before the streets of Lafayette transform into festival ground zero.

It all kicks off tomorrow morning at 11am in Carencro. Starting at Carencro High and running all the way to the Carencro Community Center, the Carencro Parade is legendary for its size and number of floats. Get their early and you’ll be sure to bag more than your fair share of beads.

Next up at 2pm, the dogs will have their day as the Krewe Des Chien Parade will march through downtown Lafayette. The Krewe Des Chien Parade is a favorite for kids and a can’t miss for dog lovers.

The day wraps up with the Krewe Of Rio kicking off the season on the Lafayette parade route. The Krewe Of Rio Parade will be your first opportunity to see floats make their way through the streets of Lafayette, and will be the perfect ending to a full Mardi Gras day.

So what are your plans tomorrow? Are you going to make all three parades? Tell us what you’ll be up to in the
