Acadiana Wreckin’ Rams Preview, Week 1 Vs Northside

The Acadiana Wreckin Rams open their defense of the 2013 5A State Championship tonight as they face the Northside Vikings on the road.

Acadiana has lost some fire power from of last year's squad. The Wreckin Rams will take the field tonight with 3 new offensive and defensive linemen, a new quarterback and some new running backs as well.

On defense, the back 7 returns mostly intact, with the exception of Reggie Francis moving to running back to provide depth. Linebacker Kevin More, and defensive back Ronald Broussard, 5A defensive player of the year 2013, will lead a defense that played exceptionally well towards the end of last season, and during the playoffs last year.

The Northside Vikings will be led by their lightning fast quarterback Ethan Rose.

Next week, and the week after, Acadiana will play on Saturday, and as a result, the games will air on News Talk 96.5 KPEL.
