Fifth ‘Die Hard’ Movie, ‘A Good Day to Die Hard,’ to Be Released in 2013

In a move sure to get a few yells of “yippee-ki-yay!” from Bruce Willis fans, the fifth installment of the star’s popular ‘Die Hard’ franchise has a name and a release date — it’ll be called ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’ and hit theaters on Valentine’s Day of 2013.
Tom Rothman, CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment, chose a rather unusual venue for the announcement: Jim Rome’s sports radio show. Rome is apparently a big ‘Die Hard’ fan, so Rothman felt his program was a good place to leak the news.
The new film will be set in Russia and involve a storyline in which Willis’ John McClane tries to get his son released from a Moscow prison. John Moore, who helmed ‘Behind Enemy Lines,’ will direct, with ‘A-Team’ writer Skip Woods penning the screenplay.
