Hornets To Keep Lance Thomas For Season

The New Orleans Hornets will extend power forward Lance Thomas a contract for the remainder of the season. After signing Thomas to two 10-day contracts, Monty Williams' squad felt it was necessary to keep him around for the second-half stretch. Big man Solomon Jones is also expected to sign a second 10-day contract with the fleur-de-bees this week.

Hornets Win Second Straight

After losing 23 of 25 games, the New Orleans Hornets have won two in a row. Marco Belinelli (pictured above) made a career-high six 3-pointers to lead the Hornets past the Milwaukee Bucks by the score of 92-89. Chris Kaman and Gustavo Ayon both chipped in with double-doubles.
