Receivers Provide Saints’ Offense With Yards After Catch

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees in currently on-pace to break Dan Marino's single-season record for passing yards.

Marino threw for 5,084 yards in 1984 with the Miami Dolphins.

Through ten games this season, Brees has passed for 3,326 yards.

Now, of course, Brees has done his part, but he's had a little help from his receivers.

Over 1,500 of those yards have come after the catch, which ranks second in the league.

Saints Have Tough Road Over Final Seven Weeks

The New Orleans Saints are 6-3 on the year, and are currently in sole-possession of first place in the NFC South.

Over the season's final seven weeks however, the going won't be easy for the Saints, as they have two games remaining with the second place Atlanta Falcons, along with games against the Giants and Lions, who are both currently 6-2, as well as a scheduled math-up with the always tough Titans, who are currently 4-4.

The positive news is that they do have games remaining against both the Vikings and Panthers, who both only have two wins.
